I don't think any of the Ibanez archtops are solid, carved top woods and as such will not have the tone you might be looking for if you are considering playing be-bop or swing. Most of the Ibanez and Epiphone 'jazz' guitars are most or all laminated woods and as such sound more electric than 'punchy' acoustic to my ears. If you are looking for a 'jazz' archtop for playing fusion or more bluesy styles, you may want to stick with the Ibanez or Epiphone guitars.
